EDM 960 Twin
The EDM-960 is certified as a primary flight instrument. With the 960 on board, you can remove many of your old engine gauges, and open up valuable space in your panel. Featuring one DAU per engine, only 2 wires run back to the display in the cockpit. (see “fact sheet” on right) No thermocouple wires in the wings! Fly with confidence as your EDM960 acts as your full time on-board flight engineer.
EDM-930 Primary
Our flagship EDM930 has been redesigned to fit more ways in your panel! It can be mounted directly into a standard 3.1″ hole or flush mounted. Our Primary system allows you to remove your old steam gauge engine instruments and move up to the most advanced and accurate piston engine-monitoring instrument on the market. The EDM930 also features a long list of user options. EDM-930 as your personal flight engineer. Always there, working in the background, constantly watching over your engine while you concentrate on flying the aircraft. Your EDM-930 will be monitoring your engine conditions four times per second and will warn you instantly if any measurement exceeds the programmed limit.

EDM-830
The EDM 830 with fuel flow and a full GPS interface, allows powerful user programming flexibility. Please review the reliable EDM830 specs and video. Designed to be used both vertically or horizontally, the rear processor is offset to give almost unlimited install choices, and a long list of user options. The Engine Data Management 830 system is the most advanced and accurate piston engine-monitoring instrument on the market. TSO’d for quality, the EDM 830 is not just another black box along for the ride. It is a Flight Engineer … a Maintenance Manager … a Backup Instrument. For the price, there is nothing that gets close to it. You can also think of the EDM 830 as your personal flight engineer. It’s always there, working in the background, constantly watching over your engine while you concentrate on flying the aircraft. You can make an entire flight without ever pushing a button, if you so choose. Yet your EDM will be monitoring your engine parameters three times a second and will warn you instantly if any parameter exceeds the programmed limit.

Fuel Flow Transducer 231
The Fuel Flow Transducer measures flows of hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, kerosene, and #2 diesel fuel and other light transmitting, non-corrosive liquids of similar viscosity. Typical fuel flow applications include aircraft fuel monitoring systems; gasoline, diesel, and gas turbine engine test stands; and industrial furnaces.
The transducers give repeatable signals on gasoline across a 100 to 1 flow range down to 0.3 GPH. The higher viscosity of diesel fuel reduces signal repeatability at flow rates below 2 GPH. Pressure drops are very low compared to other turbine flow transducers. The transducer bearing system is rated for continuous operation at the upper end of the flow range.
The transducers produce a current pulse signal from an opto-electronic pickup with a preamplifier.

Oil Temp Probe
The OIL Temperature (OIL) probe is for all Lycoming and Continental direct drive engines and is installed in the right (passenger) side front OIL galley by removing the existing 1/8 NPT plug. The probe has a 3/8-24 boss which will fit the factory pre-drilled hole for this probe.
- 1 Thermocouple Type K OIL Temperature Probe
- 1-10 Ft. Option Wire
OAT Probe
The Outside Air Temperature (OAT) probe has an outside aluminum shield which is used to both hold the probe in place and shield it from radiated heat. When installing the OAT probe, shield the sensor from direct sunlight and engine heat. The OAT probe is installed in the airframe manufactures recommended location, if this information is not available, we recommend installing the probe in clean airflow such as in a cabin air scoop or below the underside of the wing away from engine heat or exhaust heat.

CHT Gasket Probe
The Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) – Gasket Type (Washer) – You may install the probe on the upper or lower spark plug (the one that provides the best correlation with the other temperature probe). Due to the sparkplug location, the gasket probe may read 25’F higher (generally the sparkplug is the hottest part of the cylinder, which will cause this discrepancy).

EDM 950
The EDM-950 has four mounting holes to mount to the avionics equipment rack or to the cockpit side
of the firewall. The data port is then connected to the MFD or display unit. Always there, working in the background, constantly watching over your engine while you concentrate on flying the aircraft. Your EDM-930 will be monitoring your engine conditions four times per second and will warn you instantly if any measurement exceeds the programmed limit.
Leaning is accomplished quickly and automatically using the LeanFind™ procedure. With the EDM it is now possible to have substantially more diagnostic information available to you in a timely and usable manner.
The EDM 950 collects data and displays it for you in a useful way. You can use the EDM 950 to monitor engine temperatures and voltages, adjust the fuel/air mixture, and diagnose engine malfunctions.
