The EG2 engraver consists of a precision spindle assembly with a replaceable nose that can be adjusted in 0.001 increments. This degree of precision allows the EG2 to engrave through a top layer of paint to reveal a colored sub-layer below. This accessory can be used for engraving placards, circuit breaker panels, or directly on the surface of an instrument panel. The EG2 includes the engraver assembly, one 0.010 tip width cutter, one 0.4375 steel nose, and two ¼-inch diameter Delrin nose pieces.
