The CI 159C is a VOR/LOC/GS “V” Dipole antenna with detachable elements that mount to the top of most single-engine, general aviation aircraft. This antenna has an integral ferrite balun to provide higher radiation efficiency. The detachable fiberglass elements allow for a significantly smaller shipping and storage carton than fixed element versions.

The CI 429-200 is manufactured with a Skydrol resistant resistant radome and nickel-plated, aluminum base plate and comes standard with a nitrile O-ring for positive seal against the aircraft skin.
