Turn the tow ball on any Robinson R22, R44, or R66 helicopter into a stable camera mount under your helicopter. The Rock Steady VibeX mount uses patented anti-vibration technology to isolate your camera from helicopter engine and rotor vibration. This mount clamps to the tow ball with a versatile ball and socket design. Once tightened, this quality all metal mount will not move, bend, or fail, unlike plastic mounts. Rock Steady Robby Tow Ball Clamp
Turn the tow ball on any Robinson R22, R44, or R66 helicopter into a stable camera mount under your helicopter. This clamp adapts the standard Robinson tow ball to the Rock Steady standard ball end, Gopro ball end, and Rock Steady VibeX ball mount. The clamp tightens with a thumb screw that can also be tightened with the hex drive head.

This all metal base clamp half can be used back to back with a pair to clamp around any tubing 1/2″ – 1″ diameter, and most other shaped channels.
Use with a U-bolt to clamp around tubing or channels for installs with tight clearances or to a flat surface.
Bolt to a flat surface or to the diamond surface plate.
The center socket is threaded 1/4-20″ and the 3 hole pattern matches our VibeX Pro Rosettes.

Rock Steady Robby Rib Clamp Base
The perfect clamp for 3/4″ tubing or your Robby cockpit. The Rock Steady Robinson Rib Clamp Base fits the window center rib channel on any Robinson R22, R44, or R66 Helicopter, and also clamps on to 3/4″ tubing such as in Husky and Cub interior frame tubing. This clamp can be easily tightened by hand making it a FAA temporary compliant mounting device. The thumb screw hex drive head allows you to tighten with the included hex wrench too. This Clamp Base is compatible with all Rock Steady mounts.
Rock Steady Handle Base
With the handle clamp base, turn any fixed handle into a camera mount location. Most tube and fabric aircraft have handles near the tail, low wing aircraft typically have handles for stepping onto the wing, and many other locations. The all aluminum base uses a thumb screw with a hex drive head. This is a FAA friendly temporary mount. The thumb screw hex drive head allows you to tighten with the included hex wrench too. Fits the fuselage tail handle on any Cub, Champ, Husky, Bi-plane, Decathlon, etc.
