The AV-5 is an economical Ground Plane base station antenna for general aviation. It is ideally suited for use with Unicom transceivers and is field tunable to optimize VSWR at desired frequency. Durably constructed of high quality materials for a long operational life, the antenna is designed to withstand wind speeds up to 100 mph.

The AV-1 is a base station antenna for VHF communications with ground vehicles or aircraft. It has heavy-duty construction with 3/8″ diameter aluminum radials and a 1″ diameter aluminum tube radiator. These elements are treated with a “hexavalent free” passivation process per MIL-81706 and MIL-5541 for superior durability. It mounts easily to a 1″ diameter pipe or a 1-1/4″ O.D. tube with locking set screws. A built-in gap-type lighting arrestor is an important design feature. The antenna operates at a frequency of 118 – 137 MHz, and requires no additional tuning. It is designed to withstand wind speeds of up 100 mph.

The AV-931 Diplexer can be used with airborne multi-band FM transceivers. The device is designed to provide two separate frequency band ports (typically going to a multi-band transceiver) from a single port multi band antenna.

The AV-587 antenna coupler is an antenna signal splitter/diplexer providing three outputs from a single antenna. One output provides a combined VOR/LOC/GS signal. A second output provides a combined VOR/LOC signal. And a third output provides a GS signal.

The AV-586 antenna coupler is a signal splitter providing two outputs from a single antenna. The necessity of bringing this product forward comes from advancing technology in avionics. Newer designed navigational radios have only one antenna input to receive all three (VOR/LOC/GS) signals whereas older legacy radios had a separate antenna input for the VOR/LOC signal and another antenna input for the GS signal. In an aircraft instrument panel with two newer navigational radios the AV-586 is the article that will provide the necessary signals to both radios utilizing a single antenna.

The AV-585 antenna is a diplexer/splitter providing (2) VOR/ LOC and (2) GS outputs from one VOR/LOC/GC antenna. It is a direct replacement for the CI 1125.

The AV-570 diplexer splits the signal from a VOR-Type NAV antenna to feed a NAV/LOC and a GS receiver. The diplexer construction is similar to the AV-547 splitter and operates at altitudes up to 50,000 ft. This product is a direct replacement for the CI 507.

The AV-547 splitter feeds two navigation receivers from one antenna. The matching circuitry is enclosed in a durable, light weight aluminum housing for superior mechanical and environmental stability. The splitter operates at altitudes of up to 50,000 ft. This product is a direct replacement for the CI 502.
