EDM 960 Twin
The EDM-960 is certified as a primary flight instrument. With the 960 on board, you can remove many of your old engine gauges, and open up valuable space in your panel. Featuring one DAU per engine, only 2 wires run back to the display in the cockpit. (see “fact sheet” on right) No thermocouple wires in the wings! Fly with confidence as your EDM960 acts as your full time on-board flight engineer.

EDM 950
The EDM-950 has four mounting holes to mount to the avionics equipment rack or to the cockpit side
of the firewall. The data port is then connected to the MFD or display unit. Always there, working in the background, constantly watching over your engine while you concentrate on flying the aircraft. Your EDM-930 will be monitoring your engine conditions four times per second and will warn you instantly if any measurement exceeds the programmed limit.
Leaning is accomplished quickly and automatically using the LeanFind™ procedure. With the EDM it is now possible to have substantially more diagnostic information available to you in a timely and usable manner.
The EDM 950 collects data and displays it for you in a useful way. You can use the EDM 950 to monitor engine temperatures and voltages, adjust the fuel/air mixture, and diagnose engine malfunctions.
M113-3/8 CHT Gasket Probe
Oil Temp Probe
The OIL Temperature (OIL) probe is for all Lycoming and Continental direct drive engines and is installed in the right (passenger) side front OIL galley by removing the existing 1/8 NPT plug. The probe has a 3/8-24 boss which will fit the factory pre-drilled hole for this probe.
- 1 Thermocouple Type K OIL Temperature Probe
- 1-10 Ft. Option Wire
OAT Probe
The Outside Air Temperature (OAT) probe has an outside aluminum shield which is used to both hold the probe in place and shield it from radiated heat. When installing the OAT probe, shield the sensor from direct sunlight and engine heat. The OAT probe is installed in the airframe manufactures recommended location, if this information is not available, we recommend installing the probe in clean airflow such as in a cabin air scoop or below the underside of the wing away from engine heat or exhaust heat.
- 1 Thermocouple Type K OAT Probe
- 1-10 Ft. Option Wire
Manifold Pressure Sensor
CRB Probe
CHT Gasket Probe
The Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) – Gasket Type (Washer) – You may install the probe on the upper or lower spark plug (the one that provides the best correlation with the other temperature probe). Due to the sparkplug location, the gasket probe may read 25’F higher (generally the sparkplug is the hottest part of the cylinder, which will cause this discrepancy).
