Rock Steady Surface Base for inspection covers & wing tips. The Rock Steady surface base allows you to turn any two existing fasteners into a secure and stable camera mount. Don’t trust one screw holding your HD Camera in a high speed high vibration environment. Simply attach your camera to any 2 fasteners that are between 2″-5″ apart. Just attach the base directly over a inspection cover or wing tip. A rubber gasket is included to protect your painted surface. Two included centering flush washers fit the base plate slots. Includes 2 #8-32 and 2 #10-32 screws. Leave the base or multiple bases on your aircraft for quick change camera locations. The surface base has been tested up to 250 kts. This surface base is compatible with all Rock Steady mounts.

Rock Steady Handle Base
With the handle clamp base, turn any fixed handle into a camera mount location. Most tube and fabric aircraft have handles near the tail, low wing aircraft typically have handles for stepping onto the wing, and many other locations. The all aluminum base uses a thumb screw with a hex drive head. This is a FAA friendly temporary mount. The thumb screw hex drive head allows you to tighten with the included hex wrench too. This clamp can be easily tightened by hand making it a FAA friendly temporary mounting device. The thumb screw head also has a hex drive allowing you to use the included hex wrench tool if needed. This Clamp Base has a 1/4-20″ socket allowing you to attach your own mounts or any RAM ball mount.
