It is compatible with TIS®/GDL‑90 data sources, displays ADS‑B weather and trajectory info, and pairs seamlessly with AIR Avionics’ very own AIR Traffic receivers (AT‑1 or AT‑2 can be installed directly on the ATD-57 or remotely with a cable) or many third‑party ADS‑B systems that have a wirebound interface.

Intuitive controls include four pushbuttons and a concentric dual rotary knob with push‑to‑select action. Traffic appears on a radar‑style screen with adjustable range (0.5 to 64 nm), differentiated symbols for aircraft types, and lost‑signal tracking of targets. A clear alert view highlights conflicting traffic. Optional data fields show vertical separation, distance, identification, and more. The interface supports white‑mode UI and is usable at night.
