The KA 40 marker light kit is used in conjunction with the KNR 634A receiver. It has three colored lenses to indicate whether the aircraft is over the inner (white), outer (blue), or middle (orange) markers when on an approach or landing.
The KFS 598A is a control and display unit that works in conjunction with the KTR 908 VHF communications transceiver. The active and stand-by frequencies simultaneously in the gas discharge digital display. Also, this unit has up to nine non-volatile pilot-programmable frequency storage and frequency management capability when used with the KNS-660 system.
