Pneumatic Open Frame Crimp Tool for Use with Interchangeable Y Dies – HX4 Equivalent

The HX23 Pneumatic Open Frame Crimp Tool is the benchtop pneumatic equivalent of the HX4. This tool is designed to be used with Y-dies. The Hx23 accommodates wires sizes 24-14 AWG and crimps insulated/non-insulated terminals, splices, and coax connectors. This tool uses standard shop air at 80-95 PSI. The HX23 is sold with the bench mount and foot pedal.

FULL CYCLE CONTROL
The HX23 features a mechanical cycle control design which
triggers release of the dies after full cycle. This ensures consistent
crimp quality.

INTERCHANGEABLE CRIMP DIES
The HX23 accommodates most M22520/5-XX military and DMC®
“Y” series crimp dies. This affords utilization of existing dies and
interchangeability with the M22520/5-01 (DMC HX4) hand tool.

HANDS-FREE OPERATION
The foot pedal activation allows the user to have both hands free
to hold the items to be crimped. The 2 step crimping process
allows operators to achieve the correct position with springloaded
pressure first. Once satisfied, another actuation of the
foot valve completes the crimp and returns the dies to the open
position.

SAFETY FEATURES
The HX23 is equipped with a transparent safety guard and an
emergency release button to open the crimping jaws in the event
of blocked jaws caused by operation, handling errors, or wrongly
placed terminals. The HX23 foot valve assembly is constructed
with a protective shroud to prevent accidental actuation.
