C406-N HM ELT System | Single Output, Nav, Helicopter
$10,350.50
The C406 series Emergency Locator Transmitter is an automatic fixed type ELT which transmits on 121.5, 243.0, and 406 MHz frequencies. In the event of a crash the ELT automatically activates transmitting the standard swept tone on 121.5 and 243.0 MHz. It also transmits a 406 MHz encoded digital message to the Cospas/Sarsat satellite system, which allows for rapid identification and reduces Search and Rescue response time.
Model C406-N HM is a single BNC output ELT with a multi-axis G-switch for helicopter applications. Connects directly to aircraft navigation system. Capable of custom programming with optional adapter.

C406-1
The Artex C406-1 is an emergency locator transmitter (ELT) that has been built to meet the rigorous requirements of TSO C126, and pass even the toughest safety tests. The C406-1 ELT automatically activates during a crash, and transmits a 406 MHz digital message to a worldwide network of satellites, which allows first responders to quickly and accurately identify not only where you are, but who you are as well. These factors help take the ‘search’ out of ‘search and rescue’, and allow local first responders to more easily bring you home.
