Third Party Transponder Control (uAvionix) for ACD-57

Some functions in the ACD-57 require a function extension that must be installed in the device in order to be used. To do this, an installation code must be entered once in the ACD-57 to activate the function.

This activation applies to the following function: Control of uAvionix transponders (Tailbeacon X and TBX).

Considering its capabilities, we offer the ACD-57 at a very affordable price. This is possible because we do not “include” all functions directly with the purchase of the device. Our model with software licenses allows us to offer the ACD-57 to users of standard functions at this affordable price. Users who want to use more specialized features, such as the integrated ETSO-approved altimeter, can purchase these features separately. Without the license model, we would have to charge all customers the price for the complete range of features of the ACD-57 at the time of purchase, which would make the device significantly more expensive. The license model allows features to be added later, even years after purchase.

After purchase, you will receive a coupon code by email. Enter this code on a website together with the serial number of your device in a form; details will follow by email. Once you have successfully entered the coupon code and serial number, you will receive an installation code to activate the feature on the device.
