BB-TH-U Thermal Battery Box “U” Case
Thermal battery box to protect from radiated or convection heat. This battery box is designed to be compatible with our existing “U” case battery models; ETX1600, ETX900-24, ETX680-24-VNT.
The EarthX thermal battery box is designed to protect the battery in engine compartment installations from periods of high temperature (up to 1 hour), such as after shutdown, and from radiant heat from hot surfaces like exhaust systems during and after flight. This stainless-steel box has a mirror finish to minimize the effect of radiant heat, and it has a high-performance insulating foam layer between the box and battery to reduce effect of convection heat. Weight is .68Kg or 1 Lb. 8oz.
All batteries have optimal temperature ranges for use in operation. The ETX-Hundred series is rated for 140 deg F (60 deg C) or less for optimal longevity and performance of the battery. Typical lead acid batteries are rated to 113 deg F or 45 deg C.

BB-U Light Weight Aluminum Battery Box For “U” Case
This is a custom fit designed battery box for the ETX1600, the ETX900-24, or the ETX680-24-VNT battery. This battery box has a removable hold down bracket which allows the battery to be removed from the top or the front for easy installation and use. It is made of aluminum weighing only .325Kg or 11.5oz, yet can handle 9Gs force downward and 6Gs upward.

BB-MU2 Light Weight Aluminum Battery Box
The light weight aluminum battery box is excellent to use with the EarthX lithium “E” case batteries for easy installation. Has a bolt-down tab for easy removal of the battery from the front or top, and is acrobat rated (even with PC680).
This battery box can be used with: ETX680, ETX900, ETX900-VNT, ETX1200, and Odyssey’s PC680
If you are using the battery box for the EarthX Lithium batteries, you will use a foam spacer on the left and right side of the battery for a snug fit. If you are using the battery box for the PC680, you will use the foam spacer on the backside at the bottom of the case to adjust for the tapering of the case for a snug fit.
This battery box was engineered to be strong enough to withstand 30 G of force for the EarthX Lithium Batteries or 6G of upward force and 9G of downward force with the PC680. The light weight aluminum battery box is excellent to use with the EarthX lithium batteries for easy installation. This battery box can be used interchangeably for the EarthX Lithium Battery models ETX680/900/900-VNT/1200 or the Odyssey PC680 with the use of a foam spacers. We call it the multi-use battery box for this reason.
If you are using the battery box for the EarthX Lithium batteries, you will use a foam spacer on the left and right side of the battery for a snug fit. This terminal adapter kit comes with 2 brackets and 2 screws for the positive and negative posts with the standard size of 6mm and makes for an easy installation when your motor sports vehicle requires a side or front mounted battery cable versus top mounting. Fits all A, B, and F cases.
Comes included with the following batteries: ETX18B and ETX18F.
