The FPT 8800 series ARTEX programmer provides a ruggedized and simple to use ELT support tool that is suitable for both bench and field applications. Built on the Microsoft Surface framework, the ARTEX FPT (Field Programming Tablet) is a cutting-edge device designed to retrofit seamlessly with your existing ELTs in the field and bring a new era of efficiency and reliability to your operations.
This FPT 8800 ELT programmer is the standard configuration and includes necessary cables, adapters, and software for programming ELT 345/1000, ME406, C406 series, B406-4, and G406-4.
Note:Â This programmer does not measure power or read the beacon transmission transmitted by the radio. The FPT 8800 series reads the internal memory and reprograms the ELT to approved Cospas-Sarsat protocols only. Aftermarket 406 power test equipment such as Viavi 10k is required to provide the required annual beacon power test.
