The Flexcomm CD-5000 display unit controls the Synthesized Guard version of the RT-5000 transceiver. This radio controller is optimized for VHF/UHF AM communications so that users can monitor two channels simultaneously with only one RT-5000 unit. The CD-5000 features 350 channel presets that are optimized for VHF/UFH communications on the 29.7 MHz to 960 MHz public service frequency bands. The RT-5000 Synthesized Guard provides two independent receiver operations from 29.7 MHz to 960 MHz.
