0-115V/400Hz Electroluminescent Lamp Power Supply
The SD3 is a pulse width modulated dc to ac converter that provides regulated 0 to 115 Vac power up to 0.26 amperes for EL panel lighting. The SD3 will power approximately 160 in2 to 220 in2 area of a EL panel.
The output voltage is varied by a slider voltage 0-5 Vdc applied at pin F from a remote control potentiometer 5K ohm 1/2 watt to ground or directly from a 0-5 Vdc source.
An internal trim pot is provided to adjust the output voltage ± 10% at its full clockwise position of the external pot.
Circuit protection includes low input voltage shutdown, soft start, high input voltage shutdown, output over voltage limit and output short circuit current limit

Soft-Start
Minimum soft start delay of 100 mSec at full load is provided during an application of step input voltage to reduce output in rush current to EL panel.

STATIC INVERTER/50 VA, 28 VDC to 115 VAC
The SPC-5( ) Series static inverter utilizes solid state circuitry to convert 28 VDC to 115 VAC, 400 Hz sine wave power.
