Finally, a solution for mounting your iPad in the Vans RV-8 cockpit!
These concentric rings suit the Vans RV-8, mounted through the 2″ lightening hole in the 4130 steel windshield bow gusset to attach a MyGoFlight quick release base on the port or starboard (or both) sides of the cockpit. Together they form a strong, vibration free and convenient installation. A handy alternative to an iPad knee-mount that typically interferes with the controls. Each kit comes complete with four M4 x 16mm stainless screws.

This mount is available in two arm lengths. Our standard arm with a maximum length of 10.75″ and our mini arm with a maximum length of 6″
Note: Evident in the photos and described in the included fitting instructions, the four mounting holes slightly overlap the edge of the 2″ 4130 steel lightening hole, which requires some metal removal aligned with each hole using a small round file, followed by de-burring. This won’t materially effect the structural integrity of the windshield bow (in normal or rollover situations), but does positively prevent the iPad mount from rotating in flight should the mount be installed loose.

Flex Clamp Square Bar [Airbus]
Flex Clamp Square Bar [Airbus] works with the square bar that goes from the panel across to the window of Airbus/Eurocopter helicopters. The mount is sandwiched onto the square bar and is then secured using the two plates and four screws. The infinitely articulating and adjustable arm attaches to our Universal Cradle or the iPad Sport Case. Once attached, your device can be viewed in either portrait or landscape mode simply by rotating the device, without having to make any additional adjustments.

Flex Suction PRO
Flex Suction PRO - an infinitely articulating and adjustable arm with the ability to hold any iPad or device. The Mount utilizes one vacuum suction cup with a built-in finger pump that informs you if the mount is losing suction. Give it a couple pumps and it is quickly back to full strength.
Please Note: Due to the vacuum pressure we recommend removing this mount when finished with flight. The vacuum pressure can warp acrylic windows or other smooth surfaces if left too long.

Flex Clamp Collar [Beech/Wide Yoke]
Flex Clamp Collar [Beech/Wide Yoke] - an infinitely articulating and adjustable arm with the ability to hold any iPad or device. This mount attaches to the thicker yoke shaft such as on Beechcraft aircraft that have two dual yoke tubes coming out of the panel or some throw over yokes. Secure the collar with the 2 cap head screws provided.
Please Note: Attaches to control columns with a diameter between 2"-2.25" stadium round.
