The KA 40 marker light kit is used in conjunction with the KNR 634A receiver. It has three colored lenses to indicate whether the aircraft is over the inner (white), outer (blue), or middle (orange) markers when on an approach or landing.
The KMG 7010 Magnetometer detects the Earth's magnetic field and sends measurements via a CAN Bus interface to the flight computer where the data is used for long-term heading output stabilization.
