Kit to install a quick connect harness for 12V experimental and amateur-built aircraft. May be installed as a battery charging port and/or a ground power receptacle. Standard yellow mating Anderson SB50.
In addition to the special parts included in this kit, the installer must provide some standard aviation grade hardware (minimum 8AWG primary wire, ring terminals, fasteners, etc.) and fabricate a mounting scheme or bracket for the connector to position it in a convenient location.
When not being used to power the airframe, this connection can serve as a convenient electrical access for full-time maintenance battery charging with a BatteryMINDer®.
As an alternative, the installer may wish to install two receptacles, one for battery charging, and one for GPU connection. See the instructions for the [1085] M1435-EXP for details.
