The light weight aluminum battery box is excellent to use with the ETX680C EarthX lithium battery. Has a bolt-down tab for easy removal of the battery from the front or top, and is acrobat rated.

This battery box was engineered to be strong enough to withstand 30 G of force. This battery box is made for the ETX680C model and only weighs .18Kg or 6.4oz. This unique design allows for simple, easy installation.

BB-TH-CO Thermal Battery Box “C” Case
Thermal battery box to protect from radiated or convection heat. Compatible with our existing “C” case battery models; ETX680C.
The EarthX thermal battery box is designed to protect the battery in engine compartment installations from periods of high temperature (up to 1 hour), such as after shutdown, and from radiant heat from hot surfaces like exhaust systems during and after flight. This stainless-steel box has a mirror finish to minimize the effect of radiant heat, and it has a high-performance insulating foam layer between the box and battery to reduce effect of convection heat. All batteries have optimal temperature ranges for use in operation. The ETX-Hundred series is rated for 140 deg F ( 60 deg C) or less for optimal longevity and performance of the battery. Typical lead acid batteries are rated to 113 deg F or 45 deg C.

Thermal battery box to protect from radiated or convection heat. Fits the “E” case batteries including ETX680/ETX900/ETX900-VNT/ETX1200. Designed to protect the battery in engine compartment installations from periods of high temperature (up to 1 hour), such as after shutdown, and from radiant heat from hot surfaces like exhaust systems during and after flight. This stainless-steel box has a mirror finish to minimize the effect of radiant heat, and it has a high-performance insulating foam layer between the box and battery to reduce effect of convection heat. The hold-down tab comes with a mounting fixture that can hold a cooling air duct up to 1” in diameter. This battery box was engineered to be strong enough to withstand 30 G of force yet only weighs .49Kg or 1 Lb. 1.2oz.

Vent Port Kit
This kit includes includes machined aluminum vent port, washer and nut to make the installation of a vented EarthX battery easy and professional looking. This vent port is designed for our ETX900-VNT battery. This custom machined port is designed to accept the ETX900’s ¼” O.D. vent tubes. The port is an anodized aircraft aluminum. The two vent tubes easily connect to the port with a “push-to-connect” connection like most small diameter tube fittings on the market today.
This port can be incorporated into most new or existing aircraft builds, making a clean, low profile finish.
Hole size required in aircraft skin for port is 1 1/8”.
ETX-QCC2 24″ EarthX Quick Connect Cables
SPECIFICATIONS

- Industry standard 2-pole SAE connector, with rubber sealing cap.

When not in use, keep rubber sealing cap closed on the SAE connector end.
You can then use this pigtail to charge your battery or for jump starting.
If the cables get hot, disconnect and allow them to cool down before use.
Caution: Never use the supplied battery chargers pigtail cables that comes with your charger for jump starting as they are not designed to carry this amount of amperage. Only use the EarthX quick connect (model #ETX-QCC2) cables to jump the battery.
